IT Dept: Alert From The Income Tax Department During Assembly Elections

As Madhya Pradesh gears up for assembly elections, the Income Tax Department is closely watching for black money and expenditures aimed at influencing voters. The Jabalpur Income Tax Department has set up a Central Control and Complaint Monitoring Cell at 291 Ramnath Building, opposite Napier Town Bhanwartal. This office is open round the clock, seven days a week, to address any issues related to income and expenses.

During the upcoming assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, the Income Tax Department is closely monitoring the use of unaccounted money, such as black money, cash, gold, and precious metals, to influence voters and their behavior. 

They have set up a Central Control and Complaint Monitoring Cell in Jabalpur for this purpose. If anyone has information or concerns related to suspicious financial activities connected to the elections, they can report it 24/7.

You can share your information about activities like money collection, transfers, or other financial transactions involving black money, hawala transfers, or cash, along with specific details like names, mobile numbers, addresses, and the locations where these transactions occur. All the details belonging to you will be kept under the lock and key. 

This initiative aims to ensure fair and transparent elections by curbing illegal financial practices. The Income Tax Department will take swift action upon receiving such reports to maintain the integrity of the electoral process.
